Through a Te Ao Māori (Māori worldview) lens, Hononga harnesses contemporary design, storytelling, materiality, and sustainability to offer a space for deep reflection on our whenua (land), te taiao (the natural world), and our connections with one another.
Featuring the work of Māori designers and artists from Aotearoa New Zealand, the exhibition explores how design can express belonging, responsibility, and care. It invites us to reconsider, protect, and reimagine the ways we live and shape our spaces, while fostering shared values of connection, craft, and innovation.
