This project is a collaboration between “noon by material record,” an R&D initiative by Nomura Co., Ltd. and its affiliated companies exploring the relationship between sound and materials, and “&SPACE PROJECT,” an upcycling initiative that seeks to broaden the space industry by creating new value from space-related waste materials. United by the belief that “waste is not the end of a resource, but the beginning of new possibilities,” the teams created an omnidirectional speaker using test-used rocket fuel tanks.
