JOKEI -scene (or memory)- is a work inspired by the everyday scenery of the city.
Such ordinary cityscapes are unconsciously intertwined with each individual’s daily life and personal history.
The road home walked at night, the window casually glanced at, the uneven wall surface touched without awareness.
By carefully reconstructing the subtle phenomena that emerge from such scenes, JOKEI -scene (or memory)- picks up the fragments of scenery that linger quietly in the corners of memory.
