Plastic is an essential part of human life. However, with global environmental issues—such as marine plastic waste—arising from how we use it, plastic now needs a new way of being. +STORIES is a collaborative project between OK-KASEI and four product designers, exploring and designing a new future for plastic. These designs are made to be beautiful companions in everyday life—objects that satisfy the senses and touch the heart. Using recycled and biomass plastics, this exhibition presents product designs that uplift our senses and emotions—turning them into a “+PLUS.” Each piece embodies a unique story conceived by its designer, expressed through carefully considered colors that speak to both heart and mind.
