This exhibition was born from the intersection of two lives joined in marriage in November 2024.
In an age where social media and dating apps offer more ways to meet than ever, connections can feel fragile, and loneliness is on the rise. Many unknowingly feel confined by society’s standardized life path.
We sought a new form of ceremony—beyond the formalized, private wedding—shared as a public “commitment.”
At its center is a dress made from nata de coco, both a fermented food and a form of cellulose nanofiber. Shaped by unseen microbes, it mirrors how relationships are continuously formed and rewoven.
In this space where design and art gently meet, we hope visitors find new ways to celebrate connection.
